Like a tide with a letter not to live up to the return date.

The winter solstice has passed and the sun has begun its trip back north.

In the warm sunlight of one day longer than another 2024 is about to retire.

In the robust spring weather of more than one day 2025 has arrived quickly.

Dear friends how were you in 2024?

The faraway planet is experiencing shifting clouds and winds with the accompaniment of blaring trumpets and drums.  War rumbles in the Middle East and across the Pacific the election scenario is volatile and the greatest drama of our time is playing out unlike anything witnessed in a hundred years. The smoke in Eastern Europe has not yet cleared.
There are many different kinds of joy close by and the fireworks can be hot cold or warm.  While the speed of competition is increasing in the real world making people impatient opinions of all types are ebb and flow on the Internet.
How can we in this complicated and chaotic world keep our emotions in check find our way to positivity and self-confidence and still manage to peacefully enjoy the pyrotechnics of our daily lives?
The wind is blowing but the wise man's singing remains unbroken; the stars are spotted and some people are perplexed.  The only surefire way to sharpen your mind is to immerse yourself in literature apply strict logic quiet your mind rise above the din and bask in the light of truth.

Cognition comes from a full knowledge architecture.

The problem with education is bias and bias is shadows.  We left Africa and started a new family line around 10000 years ago.  From ancient clan tribes to modern nations humans have always been inquisitive about the world around them. This inquisitiveness has led to the development of modern natural science which has its roots in everything from flint fires to moon exploration in space from pottery to genetic research and from simple clan fires to modern nations.

If you want to get better at reading the most crucial thing is to doubt yourself and think critically.  In a group of partygoers you won't find any serious thinkers and intelligent readers don't rely on the work of others.  Their thoughts are constantly racing leading them to question their earlier convictions and eventually tossing them aside before moving on to the next stage of their own.  It's not broken until it's broken again.  Only via the pattern of breaking and establishing can a fresh temperament and insight emerge.  Once you've gathered all of your questions and uncertainties it's time to get back on your feet and embark on your new chapter.

Days of reading and learning easy and repetitious but also filled with the occasional epiphany full of expectations and surprises as the sun and moon rotate twilight falls and six years pass.
A mountain and a big body of water are metaphors for life.  The fireworks are close by while the river of stars is in the distance.  Even now the gentle aroma of books is what has the power to truly fill our hearts and foster personal growth.
